On the occasion of the inauguration of; an independent platform alternative to the media like YouTube; created by “Adoración y Liberación”; Monsignor Carlo Maria Viganò has greeted and blessed it, and has published an important “meditation on the Nativity of Our Lord”, dated December 24, 2020, entitled “CRASTINA DIE”.

We leave you the text of the Meditation of Monsignor Carlo María Viganò, and the English translation of the letter, published by Vicente Montesinos, Director of “Adoración y Liberación”

Crastina die delebitur iniquitas terrae
et regnabit super nos Salvator mundi.


For more than two thousand years the world has celebrated the Birth of Jesus Christ, marking the time with a before and after that places the Son of God as Lord of History. The Second Person of the Holy Trinity, embodied in the purest womb of the Virgin Mary, comes to light – The Light itself – to repair the guilt of the Progenitor and redeem humanity, enslaved by Satan with the rebellion against the Creator in the garden of Eden.


The eternal Word of the Father humbles himself in the creature, assuming our human nature, so that as a new Adam he can sacrifice himself in the name of men, and as God can make infinite the sacrifice offered to the divine Majesty. We contemplate the Mystery of Redemption unfolding in time, a time from which humanity is divided into two factions: those who have welcomed the Light that has come into the world and those who have not. Et lux in tenebris lucet, et tenebrae eam non comprehenderunt.


Crudelis Herodes, Deum Regem venire quid times? Why are you afraid, cruel Herod, of the coming of the King? We could ask this question of the powerful on earth: the financial elite, the deep state, the International Monetary Fund, the WHO, the politicians who cancel Christmas and ban the manger. What are they afraid of? No eripit mortalia, qui regna dat caelestia: He who gives the kingdom of heaven as a reward does not usurp the earthly domains, but stabilizes them, assures them prosperity, harmony and peace. Why do you fear that holy Child whom angels adore and before whom even demons prostrate trembling?


You are afraid of him, you unhappy ones, because you know that with his most holy birth your power is definitively compromised, your dominion over the world is exhausted, the iniquity that you feed on to enslave humanity will soon be erased. It is of the Light that you are afraid of: fugite, partes adversae! Because the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Sprout of David, the Wonderful Counselor, the Mighty God, the Eternal Father, the Prince of Peace … has won.


“We pray for humanity, bound and chained in the chains of error, hatred and discord, almost in a prison that she herself built, repeating the invocation of the Church in Holy Advent: O clavis David et sceptrum domus Israël; qui aperis, et nemo claudit; claudis, et nemo aperit: veni, et educ vinctum de domo carceris, sedentem in tenebris et umbra mortis! O Key of David and Scepter of the house of Israel, what you open no one closes, what you close no one opens: come and get the prisoner out of jail who is sitting in darkness and in the shadow of death! These words of Holy Scripture still resonate today with their perennial force. Even today, as then, we are prisoners of darkness, but within that darkness we put all our hope in the Holy Child of Bethlehem, in his Divine Mother and in Saint Joseph, head of the Holy Family, asking them for the strength to be a true acies ordinata that fights cor unum et anima una out of love for the Church and Christian civilization ”(Pius XII, Christmas 1943).

Tomorrow we celebrate the birth of the King of kings and the defeat of the infernal tyrant. So let us take off the cursed yoke of sin and reconcile ourselves to the Lord in the sacrament of Confession: let us make holy resolutions for the coming year and free ourselves from all affection for what offends God. Let us draw near to Holy Communion to offer the Child King, present in the Blessed Sacrament, our hearts as a worthy bed in which he can truly reign over us, over our families, over the Holy Church, over the nations that today deny and offend him. Adventiat regnum tuum: your kingdom come, Lord; kingdom of truth and life, kingdom of holiness and grace, kingdom of justice, love and peace.

This is my sincere wish. To all of you from the “little remnant” of “Adoración y Liberación”, to Vicente and his collaborators, to their families and especially to all the children, I send my Blessing with all my heart.
